How is Water Quality Tested?

How is Water Quality Tested?

In order to test the quality of your water, a sample will be collected from each water source in your home or office.  This sample(s) will then be sent out to a 3rd party laboratory for analysis.  Once results are received Maypole will review them and issue a written report of the findings.

The water will be tested for many different known contaminants and comparated against the permisable exposure limits as set forth by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Additionally, for cooling tower systems, Maypole performs water sampling services in accordance with New York City Local Law 77, 76 and Chapter 8.

What to Expect

The inspection is just the beginning of the services that Maypole provides.  Once the inspection is complete and we receive the results back from the laboratory we will thoroughly review them prior to issuing the inspection report.

We are always here to answer any questions along the way or to discuss the results with you.  In the event that contamination is found we can also help you navigate the best course of action and your options on how to proceed.
